OVERVIEW

What is a Psychological and Educational Evaluation?

Kinder Konsulting offers psychoeducational testing with School Psychologists, Karen Gayle-Penna, Ed.S., NCSP and Rebecca Dargis Ed.S., NCSP. Psychoeducational Testing at Kinder Konsulting is available for children, teens, and young adults for the suspected exceptionalities of Specific Learning Disabilities (including Dyslexia), Autism Spectrum Disorder, Emotional Behavioral Disability, Developmental Delay, Intellectual Disability, ADHD, Executive Functioning and Gifted.

Evaluations may include assessment of domains including, but not limited to the following: intellectual, academic, cognitive processing, adaptive, and social/emotional development. Parent(s) may share the results with the schools to assist in determining the need for a 504 Plan, Individual Education Plan (IEP), Educational Plan (EP), or College Board exam accommodations.

A comprehensive evaluation gives insight into a student’s personal strengths and weaknesses, which helps determine how your child learns. Concrete strategies and recommendations will be provided to help your child become more successful at school and home.
